Owner/Operators ~ Adam & Beth

Adam and Beth both worked in service industries before starting Capital Pawn in Salem in 2011. Beth taught at the college level for 16 years while Adam started in construction before moving to the mortgage world. As 2010 came to a close, Adam realized that, though he loved helping people finance their homes and make dreams come true, he wanted his own business.

With helping people as a common theme, Adam and Beth began researching options. Pawnbroking quickly became appealing for its ability to offer solutions for people. After spending over a year collecting product and visiting dozens of pawns shops across the state, Capital Pawn was born.

With Beth’s passion for helping people and value-shopper perspective, alongside Adam’s expertise in helping people arrange their finances in order to obtain a loan, Capital Pawn & Capital Couture locations are run with a focus on a positive, helpful, and friendly environment.

In 2020, Adam and Beth expanded the South Salem Capital Pawn to three additional locations in Albany, McMinnville, and Beaverton and plan to add a fifth location at the end of the year.

Capital Pawn’s mission of helping people has now expanded to much of the Willamette Valley, and their fans can shop with them on Facebook, on their website, or in-store.
